Job summary

City of Saint Paul is seeking 20-24 youth basketball scorekeepers to support the 2026-2027 season across Recreation Centers. Shifts run Saturdays, 8:30am-4pm, starting November 14, 2026, through January 30, 2027. No prior experience required; training will be provided; positions are contract-based.

Scorekeepers will accurately record player lineups, scoring events, fouls, and timeouts, while coordinating with on-floor officials. Strong attention to detail and punctuality are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate an electronic scoreboard and track score and time.
• Ability to work with game officials and communicate clearly.
• Reliable attendance on Saturdays during the 2026-2027 season.

Responsibilities

• Record players and substitutes for each game.
• Log field goals, free throws, and total points.
• Record fouls and notify officials when limits are reached.
• Record time-out information and ensure final time-out is tracked.
