Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking energetic basketball coaches to lead youth programs for ages 4–14. You will deliver engaging instruction, model positive behavior, and implement our curriculum to help children develop skills and confidence.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years working with kids, 1–5 years basketball coaching, and a bachelor’s degree (preferred). Travel may be required. This role offers competitive pay and the opportunity to inspire young athletes daily, in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children.
• Basketball/youth sports coaching experience (1–5 years) required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily basketball instruction/coaching to students aged 4–14.
• Demonstrate basketball skills and tactics, observe performance, and give feedback.
• Supervise groups with attention to behavior, health and safety, security, and development.
• Ensure safety of students and team members on and off the court.
• Organize and prepare daily plans in a fun and creative manner.
• Use classroom management to create an inclusive, engaging environment.
• Collaborate with fellow Activity Specialists and be a positive role model.
• Exhibit Impact Kids Core Values at all times.
