Job summary

TOCA Football is seeking a Staff Coach in Toledo, OH to lead player and team development under the Force BC framework. You will design daily training sessions, guide youth players, and recruit talent while maintaining a strong focus on safety and program consistency.

The role requires exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel for games and events.

Qualifications

• NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching, First Aid/Health & Safety Certifications.
• Previous coaching experience.
• Ability to develop positive, cross-functional relationships.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Additional expertise in youth development preferred (Sports Performance, Video Analysis, Child Education, Sports Medicine or Psychology).
• Excellent leadership, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work from Force Baseball Club Facility locations.
• Willing and able to work evenings, weekends and travel to out-of-town games/events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of specified Team(s) while assisting other age groups as needed.
• Lead internal supplemental training programs offered seasonally by the club.
• Design and execute daily training sessions (1–3 per week per team).
• Provide positive and constructive feedback to aid player development.
• Demonstrate willingness to pursue personal development.
• Carry out responsibilities in line with club policies and laws, safeguarding youth players.
• Develop recruitment strategy with Force BC coach staff and ensure its execution.
• Recruit and evaluate youth players.
• Attend and support other teams and events as requested by the Technical Director.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings to address administrative needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
