Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. seeks compassionate Youth Advocates to work in a staff-secure setting for court-involved youth, ages 13 to 21 within our Juvenile Justice residential network.

This role offers the opportunity to positively impact a youth’s life by providing patient, supportive care and mentorship. You will engage in advocacy, skill building, care coordination, education and role modeling as part of a dedicated team, with evening schedules and a path for professional growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related experience.
• Must be 21 years old by start date.
• Experience working with youth.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Use youth development and trauma-informed care to create a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Promote inclusive, welcoming and respectful atmosphere with diverse backgrounds.
• Foster youth skills and mentorship for positive development.

Eliot is seeking compassionate, service-oriented Youth Advocates to work in a staff-secure setting for court-involved youth, ages 13 to 21 within our Juvenile Justice residential network. This position offers a unique opportunity to positively impact a youth’s life by providing patient, supportive care and mentorship.

The role is multifaceted, encompassing advocacy, skill building, care coordination, education and role modeling. You will work as part of a dedicated team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of professionals inspiring positive change in the youth we serve.

Responsibilities:

• 3pm-11pm, Saturday-Wednesday (Thursday/Friday off)

Hourly Rate $20.65—$20.65 USD
