Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. in Salem, OR is seeking a part-time, hourly Advocate to serve youth and families in the Salem area.

The role offers flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with competitive weekly pay and activity reimbursements. Primary responsibilities involve initiating and delivering direct advocacy services, planning and implementing wraparound-based service plans for assigned participants and their families.

Competenze

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources
• Experience working with at-risk youth
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is a plus.
• Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Mansioni

• Initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
• All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
