Job summary

The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in South Bend is seeking a part-time Kroc Attendant to help manage programs and guest services. You will clean exercise spaces, assist with events, check in/out equipment, and support youth activities while building positive relationships with members and guests.

This role requires strong communication, English proficiency, and reliable attendance. Safe From Harm training and CPR training must be completed within the first 30 days.

Qualifications

• Background check required before employment.
• Must complete Safe From Harm training within the first 30 days.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment check-in and check-out procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned area and its equipment following departmental-specific guidelines.
• Return all equipment to the proper location.
• Report all equipment breakdowns according to departmental procedure.
• Enforce all safety guidelines that pertain to the assigned area on a constant and consistent basis.
• Other tasks as assigned by leadership.
• Responsible for the safety, supervision, and active entertainment of all children placed in the Kids Watch area.
• Maintain readiness and cleanliness of the Kids Watch area; clean equipment, toys, and play areas.
• Maintain daily observation logs and all paperwork related to the assigned shift.
• Must complete Safe from Harm training and CPR Training within the first 30 days of employment.
