Job summary

White Manor Country Club in Malvern, PA is seeking a Youth Activities Counselor to run family-friendly events and supervise youth during pool activities, camps, and holidays. You will greet members, assist with sign-in, ensure safety, and maintain play areas.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, CPR and First Aid, proficiency with Outlook and basic IT, strong communication, and the ability to work with children of all ages. Evening availability Friday and Saturday nights is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Title: Youth Activities Counselor

Department: Youth Activities

Reports To: Director of Member Experience.

Position Objective

The Youth Activities Counselor is responsible for all activities related to youth activities at the club including but not limited to assisting in creating, implementing, and overseeing family-friendly events and youth programs, set-up, cleaning up, and supervising younger members in a safe and friendly way.

Position Functions And Duties

• Greet members and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Respond to member questions by providing correct information and answering the telephone in professional manner.

Physical And Mental Demands

Typical Working Conditions

Work is performed in an indoor/outdoor setting, busy and noisy environment. Some varied weather conditions are expected with exposure to heat/humidity, or cool/cold weather. Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates.
