Job summary

Alive Church in Orlando, Florida seeks a passionate Young Adults Pastor to lead a relational, Spirit-led ministry for college-age and young adults, building a thriving community beyond our monthly First Friday gathering.

The role equips a core leadership team to implement the Plus One discipleship model, grow campus outreach, and guide young adults into meaningful next steps at Alive Church, including baptisms and discovering their God-given purpose.

• Growing personal relationship with Jesus and alignment with Alive Church values.
• Ability to disciple people, recruit and coach leaders, and communicate clearly.
• Strong organization, teamwork, and event execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a clear three-week rhythm of discipleship and community between First Friday gatherings.
• Coach a core leadership team to carry out Plus One: find one, build relationship, invite, disciple, and celebrate next steps.
• Oversee Dream Team leaders, Planning Center service flow, and monthly Young Adults gatherings.
• Partner with college campus outreach leads to reach and connect students.
• Move young adults into Growth Track, Dream Team, Alive Groups, Freedom, Alive College, and Alive Leadership Institute.
• Provide pastoral care and track connections, baptisms, next steps, and monthly life change stories.

Job description

Alive Church is looking for a passionate, relational, and Spirit-led Young Adults Pastor to build a thriving young adults ministry that goes far beyond our monthly First Friday gathering.

This role will equip and coach a core leadership team to carry out the Plus One discipleship model, grow community and college campus outreach, and guide young adults into meaningful next steps at Alive Church. The ideal candidate has a pastor’s heart and loves seeing young adults find their one, build real relationships, get baptized, and step into their God-given purpose.

• Coach a core leadership team to carry out Plus One: find one, build relationship, invite, disciple, and celebrate next steps.
• Oversee Dream Team leaders, Planning Center service flow, and monthly Young Adults gatherings.
• Partner with college campus outreach leads to reach and connect students.

• Demonstrated ability to disciple people, recruit and coach leaders, and communicate clearly.
• Strong organization, teamwork, and event execution skills.
• Ability to use Planning Center (or willingness to learn quickly).
• Commitment to ministry safety, confidentiality, and church policies.
• Availability for First Friday gatherings, weekend services, and evening community events.

Preferred: Experience leading young adults, college, or student ministry; experience with campus outreach or relational discipleship models; Bible college or ministry training.

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Orlando, Florida. Some evenings, weekends, and special events may be required.
