Qualifications

• Knowledge of young adult literature and ability to plan youth programs.
• Ability to maintain the young adult area and follow library policies.
• Experience with data processing and library computer systems.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to report concisely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present youth programs.
• Maintain and decorate the young adult section.
• Inventory and read shelves in the YA area.
• Assist patrons and respond to reference questions.
• Instruct patrons in library computer use and monitor internet use.
• Other duties as assigned.
