The Landform team is about to become even more dynamic; you could be our next Professional Planner III.

We work in a studio model where everyone collaborates side-by-side throughout each project's lifecycle, enabling a focus on quality work with diverse roles and experience levels. Our firm comprises three studios: Planning & Urban Design, Retail & Commercial Design, and Residential Design. The team includes civil engineers, planners, land surveyors, development managers, landscape architects, and administrative support roles.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in planning, administration, or urban design with 5+ years of experience
  • Experience in municipal community development
  • Experience in economic development or urban planning
  • Excellent research skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of GIS and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Willingness to attend client meetings, including evenings
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with colleagues, agencies, and clients
  • Comfort working in Windows and Microsoft environments
  • Basic software proficiency for communication
  • Ability to follow instructions and guidelines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as needed

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Utilize provided software and tools to:

  • Prepare site investigation reports under supervision
  • Support municipal clients with planning tasks
  • Review development applications and prepare staff reports
  • Draft development applications and narratives for other studios
  • Assist with ordinance updates, master plans, and comprehensive plans
  • Support other studios and private clients with planning needs
