Job summary

CorePower Yoga is seeking instructors to deliver exceptional yoga experiences. You will check in students at the front desk, guide CPY-aligned classes, and support each student to live their power.

This role requires CPR/AED certification, strong communication, and the ability to manage group activity up to 1.5 hours in heated settings. You will engage with the community and uphold CPY standards daily.

Qualifications

• Certificate of completion from a 200-hour yoga teacher training with an additional 50 hours of continuing education for C1, C2, HPF and Hot Formats or a Yoga Sculpt or Fitness Training plus an additional 40 hours of continuing Education for Yoga Sculpt.
• After June 2020: Certificate from a format related 200-hour yoga teacher training in person/online, and/or a CorePower Yoga Online teacher training and/or completion of 50HR Yoga Sculpt Intensive.
• Current CPR/AED certification required; High School diploma preferred. Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in computer applications. Ability to lead students in physical activity for up to 1.5 hours; withstand heat exposure up to 104 degrees for 60 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Teach a minimum of two CorePower Yoga classes per week for at least 4 hours in studio.
• Educate students on alignment, offer modifications, and use CPY cueing formulas to maintain safety.
• Be in studio 30 minutes before and after each class to read communications, plan CPY-aligned classes, and engage with the community.
• Connect with students 30 minutes before and after class to foster personal growth and community growth.
• Act as the face of the CPY experience and greet students, check them in, handle POS transactions and front desk duties.
• Perform cleaning tasks to meet CPY health protocol standards for safety.
• Contribute to a supportive, fun studio environment and uphold CPY Core Values.
• Represent CPY initiatives and business streams including memberships, programming, retail, etc.
