Job summary

UFC Gym - Downtown Pittsburgh is seeking an energetic Yoga Instructor to lead engaging, safe sessions focused on breath, flexibility, and alignment. You will plan structured classes, cue effectively, and adapt flows for all fitness levels while promoting class and gym programs.

Ideal candidates bring group fitness experience (Yoga) and certifications (NASM/ACE/ISSA, RYT or equivalent, CPR/AED). Enjoy flexible scheduling, employee discounts, and growth opportunities in a dynamic UFC GYM community.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of exercise science, anatomy and kinesiology as it relates to Yoga.
Previous group fitness instruction experience (Yoga) preferred.
Clear cueing and interpersonal skills to connect with a diverse membership base.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver structured Yoga classes with safe, well-paced choreography and smooth transitions.
Educate participants on proper form, alignment and modifications for safety.
Welcome and orient new participants, build rapport, foster a positive, inclusive environment.
Arrive early for setup, start/end on time, and manage studio equipment and sound systems.
Promote gym programs, events, and membership perks as a brand ambassador.
