Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is seeking a Part-time, after-school Yoga Instructor to lead age-appropriate yoga and mindfulness sessions at Oak View Elementary School in Silver Spring, MD. Classes run Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with 1.5-hour sessions and no lesson planning required.

Qualified candidates will have yoga experience (preferred) and a background in working with children. Curriculum and equipment are provided, and there are opportunities for advancement within BBA

Qualifications

• Yoga teaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with children is a plus.
• Comfortable working with students in grades K–5.
• Reliable transportation to Oak View Elementary School.
• Must complete Montgomery County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging yoga and mindfulness sessions.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum.
• Teach age-appropriate poses, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students.
• Promote wellness, focus, confidence, and self-awareness.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring enthusiastic and dependable After-School Yoga Instructors to lead fun, age-appropriate yoga and mindfulness classes for elementary-aged students at Oak View Elementary School in Silver Spring, MD.

If you\'re passionate about helping children improve their flexibility, balance, focus, confidence, and overall well-being through movement and mindfulness, we\'d love to hear from you.

• Part-time, after-school position
• Monday through Friday
• Between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM
• 1.5-hour sessions
• $37.50 per session ($25 per hour)
• No lesson planning required
