Job summary

ERC Pathlight seeks a part-time 1099 Yoga Therapist to lead yoga groups for patients during scheduled programming and adapt sessions to patients' physical, social, and emotional needs, delivering compassionate, trauma-informed care.

Must be an RYT with Health At Every Size principles, at least 200 hours of teacher training, and experience teaching adolescents and adults in mental-health settings. Schedule: Thursdays 12:30 PM–2:30 PM in The Woodlands, TX.

• Knowledge of trauma informed care principles - Required
• At least 200 hours of yoga teacher training. Experience teaching yoga to adolescents and adults - Required

Responsibilities

• Plans and facilitates yoga group lessons to support patients in a mental heathcare setting. Teaches yoga aligned with Health At Every Size (HAES) principles.
• Interacts with patients in a trauma-informed manner.
• Manages patient sign in sheet for each group.
• Reports any concerns to clinical leadership.

How you’ll serve our patients

Facilitates yoga groups during scheduled programming times in accordance with patients' physical, social, and emotional needs.

You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways:

• Plans and facilitates yoga group lessons to support patients in a mental heathcare setting. Teaches yoga aligned with Health At Every Size (HAES) principles. Interacts with patients in a trauma-informed manner. Manages patient sign in sheet for each group. Reports any concerns to clinical leadership.
