Job summary

EXOS in Groton, CT is seeking a dynamic Group Exercise Instructor to lead engaging group classes for members of all fitness levels. You will create fun, effective workouts, provide modifications, and foster an inclusive, energetic atmosphere.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience leading group classes, current nationally accredited certification, CPR/AED, and the ability to motivate participants in a group setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience actively leading successful group exercise classes.
• Current nationally accredited group exercise certification (AFAA, ACE, ACSM, NETA) required.
• Current CPR/AED certification is mandatory; First Aid certification is strongly preferred.
• Instructors teaching licensed formats (e.g. Zumba, Yoga) must also be trained and licensed to teach those specific formats.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate individuals in a group setting.
