The YMCA of Metropolitan Washington is seeking a Lifeguard to supervise aquatic activities and ensure swimmer safety at our YMCA facilities. This role involves enforcing pool rules, responding to emergencies, and helping maintain clean, safe water environments.
Candidates should be at least 16, able to swim, and ideally possess lifeguard certification plus CPR/First Aid. Flexible scheduling includes part-time and full-time shifts with benefits in a community-focused nonprofit setting.

The Lifeguard position s supervisors swimming activities at the Y’s aquatic facilities and protects the safety of all swimmers by preventing accidents and by responding to an emergency quickly and efficiently to minimize the danger to those involved.
