Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho seeks a Yield Improvement Failure Analysis Shift Technician to perform electrical and physical failure analysis for defect issues identified by YE and Fab customers.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics, AC/DC Electronics Technology or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off) and overtime to support business operations.
• Ability to wear lab garments to prevent contamination and PPE as needed.
• 3–5 years in the industry or equivalent military experience.
• 3–5 years identifying performance gaps and implementing improvements in lab settings.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial data analysis on new issues, conducts failure analysis, documents findings, and summarizes results into a report for stakeholders.
• Operates lab equipment safely, understands equipment functionality and performs basic troubleshooting.
• Supports Company and Department objectives and vision plans.
• Collaborates to support company and department objectives and participates in projects and teams.
• Suggests new ideas to improve department and company objectives.
