Job summary

Noveon Magnetics is seeking a Manufacturing Yield & Device Analytics Engineer in San Marcos, TX to track, optimize, analyze, and sustain manufacturing performance. You will bridge physical manufacturing fundamentals with advanced analytics to drive yield improvements, reduce waste, and deliver reliable design rules for scalable production.

The role requires strong data analysis, DOE leadership, and capability to collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 3–7+ years in high‑precision manufacturing or yield analysis environments.
• Strong analytical, statistical modelling and data interpretation skills.
• Hands-on experience with SPC, process capability analysis, DOE, and statistical problem solving.
• Root cause analysis and CAPA implementation proficiency.
• Knowledge of KPI tracking (yield, scrap, OEE, throughput) and Lean/Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Drive yield improvement using data analytics and statistics to identify variation and inefficiencies.
• Analyze high-volume manufacturing data trends, SPC metrics, scrap rates, downtime, and cycle times.
• Lead advanced DOE to establish robust process windows and capability targets.
• Develop predictive and preventive improvement strategies from data models.
• Define manufacturing design rules by delivering process capability metrics to design engineering.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Apply 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, Pareto, and CAPA to diagnose disruptions or quality events.
• Ensure compliance with QMS and ISO 9001; support Industry 4.0 digitization.
