As an Account Executive, you'll work directly with local businesses to help them meet their goals through Yelp's advertising programs. You'll contact small business owners via phone to customize solutions that fit their needs, helping them grow their business.
Your main responsibilities include educating business owners about Yelp's advertising platform, conducting outreach, discussing advertising solutions, and achieving sales quotas. Success is measured by meeting and exceeding monthly targets, managing rejection positively, and working within a supportive virtual team environment.
What you'll do:
- Educate and strategize with business owners about Yelp advertising through high-volume outbound calls.
- Work scheduled hours (e.g., 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) in your local time zone.
- Manage a pipeline of clients using Salesforce.
- Work remotely from home, selling advertising to local businesses on a set Monday to Friday schedule.
- Become an expert in Yelp's advertising solutions and recommend products to clients.
- Close deals efficiently and manage customer relationships for potential upsells.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales quotas.
- Track daily goals to ensure results.

Minimum requirements:
- GED/HS Diploma with 2+ years customer-facing experience OR Bachelor's Degree.

- Open to feedback and self-improvement.
- Legal right to work in the US.

- First-year earnings from $50k-$65k, with uncapped commissions.
