Job summary

Continental, through its ContiTech division, seeks a motivated Supply Chain & Operations Student Co-op in Halstead, KS for a year-round, part-time role in manufacturing logistics. You will support material planning, production planning, inventory management and procurement while gaining hands-on experience with SAP, Excel, and cross-functional teamwork.

You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and other teams to analyze processes, improve efficiency, and contribute to cost,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business, or Industrial Engineering.
• Sophomore standing with GPA 2.8 or higher.
• Basic understanding of supply chain, inventory, logistics or manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist material and production planning to support manufacturing needs.
• Monitor material availability and inventory levels for potential shortages.
• Support inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and analysis of excess materials.
• Assist with purchasing, PO tracking, and supplier follow-up.
• Track supplier deliveries, lead times, and performance.
• Support receiving, warehousing, and logistics activities as needed.
• Collect, analyze, and report supply chain data and KPIs.
• Use SAP and Excel to research and maintain supply chain information.
• Identify opportunities to improve material flow and scheduling.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and other departments.
• Document findings and present updates to leadership.
