Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks a Year-Round Business Undergraduate intern for the Field Intelligence Element (FIE) onsite. You will support the equipment inspection program, log data, analyze metrics, and present findings to leadership.

The role includes creating training and policy documents, coordinating meetings, and fostering cross‑functional collaboration while building relationships with customers and peers.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited undergraduate program in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0.
• Available to work up to 25 hours/week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer.
• Must be able to secure and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Field Intelligence Element (FIE) Equipment Inspection and Compliance Program (check items in and out, update tracking systems, interface with customers).
• Log information into FIE applications and perform data analysis to compile metrics.
• Present metrics and briefings to stakeholders, including leadership.
• Create documentation using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word and read technical documents to write/update trainings, policies, procedures.
• Manage processes and provide suggestions for process improvement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with peers, managers and customers.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings.
• Collect, analyze and present feedback.
