Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks a motivated undergraduate student for the Intern, R&D Undergraduate Summer - Prairie View A&M Panther Invent, onsite in New Mexico. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on research projects, designing and analyzing experiments, and using computational tools for data analysis and modeling.

You will work full time onsite for the summer, pursuing a science, engineering, or math major with a 3.0 GPA or higher and must be eligible for a U.S.

Qualifications

• Must attend the Prairie View A&M Panther Invent Event.
• Currently attending and enrolled full time in the spring term immediately preceding the internship (or scheduled to graduate in the spring) in an accredited undergraduate program.
• Pursuing a science, engineering, or math major.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer.
• Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
• Note: If you have not earned a HS diploma or equivalent, please apply to a high school intern position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on research projects.
• Assist in the design, execution, and analysis of experiments.
• Utilize computational tools and software for data analysis and modeling.
• Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to complex problems.
