Job summary

Continental Pools is hiring year-round Lifeguards to join our team. You will help maintain a safe, welcoming pool environment through active surveillance, accident prevention, emergency response, and customer service.

Responsibilities include monitoring, enforcing rules, responding to emergencies, maintaining certifications, and completing incident reports. Flexible scheduling and benefits are available in a safety-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Age requirements per law (typically 15–16+)
• Current Lifeguard certification (American Red Cross or equivalent), CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid required
• Ability to remain alert and monitor pool area
• Physically able to perform rescues and long periods of standing

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas to ensure patron safety and prevent accidents.
• Enforce pool rules and maintain a safe swimming environment.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies, including water rescues, first aid, CPR/AED, and EAP execution.
• Maintain required certifications and complete ongoing training.
• Inspect facilities and equipment and report safety concerns.
• Complete incident documentation and water/chemical testing.
• Assist with pool/deck cleaning and basic upkeep.
