Job summary

Schultz Lawnscapes in Hampton, VA is seeking a dependable Crew Leader to oversee a small team delivering high-quality commercial landscape maintenance. This year-round role includes winter snow support and opportunities to grow within the company.

You will lead 2–5 crew members on job sites, perform and supervise mowing, edging, trimming, and cleanup, and ensure safety, quality, and timely completion while reporting hours and materials.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience.
• Prior crew lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather.
• Reliable attendance and safety commitment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a crew of 2–5 team members on job sites.
• Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and cleanup tasks.
• Operate trucks, mowers, trimmers, and other landscape tools.
• Ensure job quality, safety, and timely completion.
• Report crew hours and track materials.
• Train new crew members and assist field onboarding.
• Assist with snow removal during winter season.
