Job summary

OCC is seeking a Year-Round Intern for Enterprise Quality Management, focusing on automation and quality checks for Ovation and ETS applications. You will create test cases, automate regression tests, and report defects while working in a hybrid environment in Chicago.

The role targets rising seniors or graduate students, with opportunities to learn real-world financial services testing. Interns work up to 20 hours per week during the school year and up to 40 hours in summer, capped at 1,000

Qualifications

• Rising senior or second-year graduate student, graduating December 2027 or May/August 2028.
• Technical coursework or interest in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and create detailed test cases for validating functions.
• Identify test cases for automation and develop manual regression test suite.
• Execute test cases in the test management tool and report defects.
• Automate manual regression test cases using the agreed automation framework.
• Write clear defect reports based on testing results.
• Attend daily standup and provide input during retrospectives.

Location: Chicago. Internship type: Year-round intern (1,000 hours max, January 2027-December 2027).

Hybrid Work Program

OCC operates under a Hybrid Work Program which, absent an approved exception, requires employees to work from an OCC office at least 3 days per week. To maximize in-person collaboration, Tuesday and Wednesday are considered anchor days, and all employees are expected to work in the office both days. Employees meeting performance expectations are generally permitted to select 2 other days per week to work remotely if desired. When working remotely, employees are generally expected to work from the state in which they reside, absent an exception approved by Human Resources. Additionally, OCC generally does not permit employees to work while traveling internationally.

About the Team & Role

Enterprise Quality Management works on ensuring the quality of Ovation and Enterprise Technology Solutions applications. The intern will be involved in creation of automation scripts to verify quality of the Ovation and ETS applications along with compliance checks for Ovation Testing Process and Artifacts.

Job Summary & Responsibilities
