Summary

Ensure the safety of patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain surveillance of patrons and act quickly in emergencies
• Enforce safety rules and perform rescues and first aid as needed
• Provide emergency care until medical services arrive
• Represent the school positively to parents
• Use problem-solving skills to address challenges
• Inspect pool areas for maintenance and safety issues
• Report incidents and complete documentation
• Perform Deck Teacher duties when required
• Attend mandatory training sessions
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Education/Experience

Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor, camp counselor, or childcare provider preferred.

Certificates and Licenses

Training in Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid will be provided.

Work Environment

Regular exposure to heat and humidity; moderate noise level. All locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees. Applications go directly to the franchisee, and hiring decisions are made by their management. For inquiries, contact the franchise directly.
