Job summary

American Spoon Foods Inc. is seeking a year-round Retail Associate for our Traverse City store. This position offers flexible hours from about 20 hours per week in the off-season to 35 hours during peak summer and holiday periods, with wage of $17–$18 per hour based on experience.

You will deliver excellent customer service, educate shoppers about our brand, stock the shelves, and maintain a clean, inviting store. Public interaction is essential and weekend/evening availability is required.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred, especially in small specialty shop.
• Public interaction experience is a must.
• Must have weekday and weekend availability.
• Evening availability up to 8pm.
• Passion for food and locally grown produce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and build long-term relationships with customers.
• Stock shelves on the sales floor and in the stock room.
• Operate the POS and complete purchases.
• Keep the store clean and organized for customers.
