Qualifications

• Must read, write, and perform basic math.
• Able to recognize conformance vs non-conformance requirements.
• Must distinguish colors.
• Walkthrough creel at shift start or when moved to a new creel to assess condition.

Responsibilities

• Check lot numbers to ensure the correct lot is running.
• Hang and splice yarn in creel, including spotting, doubling and cutting back.
• Remove exhausted tubes from creel and dispose per procedures.
• Maintain yarn level and creel cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Make preparations for boxes and tubes to be removed from creel.
• Identify and report maintenance needs at the creel and tag for follow-up.
• Load yarn into the creel as required by the production line.
