Heidelberg Materials in Oregon seeks a dependable yard worker to operate equipment for loading, unloading, and moving materials within the yard. You will assist with inventory and inspections while maintaining safety and efficiency in a dynamic outdoor setting.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work in varying weather. Benefits include union medical, dental, vision, and pension programs. This is a full-time position with union coverage and ongoing safety training.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the yard
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of yard and equipment
• Assist with inventory control and material inspections
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment
• Support team operations and communicate effectively with coworkers

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level

What We Offer

• $27.04 to $27.04 per hour
