Job summary

Prinsco, located in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a dependable Yard Worker to join our team that values safety, teamwork, and pride in workmanship. You’ll contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment, perform basic yard tasks, and follow all safety procedures to help keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3 months’ work experience, and the ability to lift up to 75 lb. Forklift experience and potential certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or in progress.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Forklift experience preferred with ability to obtain certification.
• Able to lift up to 25 lb consistently, 50 lb for 1/3 of day, 75 lb for less than 1/3 of day.
• Able to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch for majority of day.
• Ability to work in non-temperature controlled production environments and in varying outdoor weather.
• Ability to work in a loud environment.

QualificationsQualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required or in the process of completion and a minimum of three months’ work experience.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Forklift experience preferred with the ability to achieve a forklift certification.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently, 50 pounds 1/3 of the day, & 75 pounds less than 1/3 of the day.
• Using hands and reaching with hands/arms for over 2/3 of the workday.
• Standing, walking, climbing, or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling for over 2/3 of the workday.
• Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate colors.
• Ability to work in a production environment that is not temperature controlled and occasionally in varying outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a loud noise environment.
