Job summary

Mutual Materials is seeking a full-time forklift operator to safely load and unload products and support daily yard operations. You will also handle inventory management and prepare shipping and receiving paperwork in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires customer-facing skills, the ability to perform physical tasks, and flexibility for overtime. Training will be provided by experienced teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience in building materials or similar distribution environment preferred.
• Positive attitude with strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load/unload Mutual Materials products safely and efficiently.
• Hand-load customer vehicles as needed and maintain yard and inventory.

This includes loading company trucks as well as customer vehicles.As this is a customer-facing role, providing exceptional service is essential to maintaining and promoting positive customer relationships.While forklift operation will be your primary duty, you may also be required to hand-load customer vehicles as needed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the yard, managing inventory, breaking down pallets, and handling shipping and receiving documentation.This position requires outdoor work and is subject to all weather conditions.Lift up to and more than 90lbsOn the job training will be provided to all New Hires by experienced Mutual Materials employees.This is a full-time job, Monday-Friday.
