About the Job:

The primary focus of this role is to ensure our storage units and offices are clean, repaired, and operational for rental. This position involves various general labor tasks.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Yard Worker, your responsibilities include:

• Cleaning, repairing, and preparing storage units and offices for rental, including repairs on customer sites.
• Sweeping and hosing out units.
• Checking A/C systems, replacing flooring, repairing drywall, cleaning windows, blinds, doors, floors, and walls.
• Replacing light bulbs, locks, blinds, door handles, painting, minor welding, and electrical work.
• Performing repairs on customer units in the field.
• Documenting work and tagging units as ready (green) or needing further repairs (red).
• Replenishing supplies, organizing the yard, and maintaining safety standards.
• Operating forklifts for loading and unloading.
• Other duties as assigned. Regular attendance is essential.

  Equipment You Will Use:

  • Mops, paint supplies, drywall tools, welder, floor cleaners, maintenance tools, electrical hand tools, gas-powered forklift, computer for time tracking.

  Education and Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of experience in general labor and repairs.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Welding experience is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
