Job summary

National Construction Rentals seeks a Yard Worker to maintain fence, sanitation, power, and storage equipment. You will assist in loading/unloading materials from NCR vehicles and ensure all equipment meets quality standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning, repairing, and painting yard equipment, operating steam cleaners, forklifts, and air tools safely, and keeping daily inventory logs up to date. A safety-conscious, detail-oriented team player is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required; DOT medical card.
• Forklift certification provided after hire.

Responsibilities

• Clean, repair, and stack fence materials in the yard.
• Maintain cleanliness and inspect fence, sanitation, and storage equipment; apply paint as needed.
• Assist in loading/unloading materials from NCR vehicles.
• Operate steam cleaners, forklifts, and air tools safely and proficiently.
• Report accidents or incidents per company procedures.
• Maintain and update inventory logs daily/weekly.
• Empty and clean portable toilets in preparation for delivery.
• Ensure a safe, tidy work area following safety protocols.

Job Summary:Depending on the product lines assigned to the region, the Yard Worker is responsible for maintaining fence, sanitation, power, and storage equipment in clean and operational condition. They ensure that all equipment leaving the yard meets the quality standards of National Construction Rentals, Inc. Additionally, the Yard Worker assists in the loading and unloading of materials from NCR vehicles.Essential Functions:Clean, repair, and ensure proper rolling and stacking of fence materials in the yard.Maintain cleanliness, conduct repairs, and apply paint to fence, sanitation, and storage equipment.Assist in the loading, unloading, and servicing of vehicles used for fence, sanitation, and storage operations.Operate steam cleaners, forklifts, and air tools proficiently and safely.Immediately report any accidents or incidents according to company procedures.Maintain and update inventory logs on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as required.Document all maintenance and repair work completed daily.Empty and clean portable toilets in preparation for delivery.Ensure a safe and tidy work area, adhering to all safety protocols.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to work from detailed instructions and occasionally make independent decisions.Task-oriented with proficiency in following detailed instructions.Must have a valid driver’s license with a Motor Vehicle Record within company guidelines.
