Job summary

National Construction Rentals in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Yard Worker to maintain fence, sanitation, power and storage equipment in clean, operational condition. You will ensure that all equipment leaving the yard meets NCR quality standards and assist in loading/unloading materials from NCR vehicles.

Responsibilities include cleaning, repairing and stacking fence materials, maintaining equipment, painting as needed, operating forklifts and steam cleaners, and updating inventory logs daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and occasionally make independent decisions.
• Task-oriented with proficiency in following detailed instructions.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a Motor Vehicle Record within company guidelines.
• Forklift certification will be provided after hire.
• DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Clean, repair, and stack fence materials in the yard.
• Maintain cleanliness, conduct repairs, and apply paint to equipment.
• Assist loading, unloading, and servicing vehicles used for operations.
• Operate steam cleaners, forklifts, and air tools safely.
• Report accidents or incidents according to procedures.
• Maintain inventory logs daily/weekly/monthly as required.
• Document maintenance and repairs daily.
• Empty and clean portable toilets in preparation for delivery.
• Ensure a safe and tidy work area, following safety protocols.
