Job Responsibilities
Full Service Essential Duties:
- Receive labels from the supervisor for parts to be pulled.
- Pull and retrieve parts from vehicles in the yard.
- Inspect parts and notify the supervisor of any damage.
- Stage parts for delivery drivers.
- Operate a forklift or order selector to transport parts within the warehouse.
- Sort and organize parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or bins.
- Respond to customer counter sales by processing orders, pulling products, and loading customer vehicles.
- Verify stock availability for inside sales.
- Classify and process returns based on part condition and prepare inventory adjustment forms.
- Check in defective parts and record them for vendor returns.
- Sign off on deleted tickets with explanations.
- Load trucks according to schedules and perform final checks.
- Manage wheel cores for return to remanufacturing.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas.
- Support continuous improvement of quality systems.
Self Service Essential Duties:
- Operate forklifts or loaders to move cars and assist in yard operations.
- Clean debris from vehicles before processing.
- Remove batteries for testing and resale, and bring charged batteries to retail.
- Assist in staging or pulling cars with the Loader Operator.
- Walk the yard to remove debris from vehicles.
- Dismantle tires.
- Ensure safety and compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations.
- Wear required PPE and adhere to company policies.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not involve supervising employees.
Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
0+ years of experience required. Warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; forklift certification is beneficial.
Skills and Abilities
- Basic math skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Clear oral communication.
- Ability to follow standard procedures and guidance.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 75 pounds, and work in various physical positions. Exposure to hazardous conditions, extreme temperatures, and noise is possible. PPE is required. Travel may be necessary.
