Brickworks Supply Center in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring a dependable Yard Worker at our Ft. Wayne Supply Center. You will support inventory control, load and unload orders, and operate yard equipment as part of a safety‑conscious team.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in material handling or building products. Strong communication, math and computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 120 pounds are valued.

• One to two years of material handling and/or delivery experience in the building products industry preferred.
• Knowledge of masonry and building products preferred.

We are hiring! Brickworks Supply has an immediate opening for a dependable Yard Worker at our Ft. Wayne, IN Supply Center.

The yard worker is responsible for month end physical inventories as well as the loading and unloading of inbound/outbound orders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate powered industrial equipment in a safe and efficient manner


• Assist with month-end physical inventories, and resolve any discrepancies


• Loading and unloading inbound and outbound orders


• Other duties as assigned as needed

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES:

• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and customer service oriented


• Good organizational, math, computer and clerical skills


• Ability to operate heavy yard equipment in a safe and effective manner


• Self-motivated and able to work effectively without close supervision


• Knowledge of building products, proper storage, safe handling and transportation methods preferred


• Safety conscious


• Able to lift up to 120 pounds

QUALIFICATIONS:
