Job summary

Omega Morgan is seeking a Yard Worker in Field Fife, WA to organize equipment, load and unload materials, and perform basic machinery maintenance. The role supports ongoing projects and requires safe, efficient yard operations.

The candidate should have 2+ years in yard/facilities work, be able to lift 50+ lbs, and pass a pre-employment drug screen. OSHA training is a plus and on-the-job training is available.

Qualifications

• Two+ years’ experience in yard/facilities environment.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Operate machinery.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Maintain an excellent safety record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical abilities test.
• OSHA 10/30 training is a plus; training offered.

Responsibilities

• Arrange equipment and materials in the yard to optimize space and operations.
• Operate different types of equipment (forklifts, telehandlers, etc).
• Perform regular yard inspections to address safety hazards or maintenance issues.
• Maintain and repair company facilities, equipment, and vehicles as needed.
• Assist with unload/load.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Summary:

The yard worker will be responsibilities will include organizing equipment, loading, and unloading materials, performing basic maintenance on machinery, and possibly assisting with rigging operations. It's crucial work for keeping operations running smoothly, ensuring safety, and supporting the larger projects the company undertakes.

Job Duties include (but not limited to):

• Arrange equipment and materials in the yard to optimize space and facilitate efficient operations.
• Operate different type of equipment (forklifts, telehandlers, etc)
• Perform regular inspections of the yard to identify and address any safety hazards or maintenance issues.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on company facilities, including buildings, structures, and grounds. Assist with the maintenance and repair of company equipment, including tools, machinery, and vehicles.
• Assist with unload/load.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements:

• Two+ years’ experience working in a yard/facilities environment.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
