Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math, reading orders, and ability to complete forms.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Strong communication with customers and team.
• Willingness to learn inventory software and business applications.
• Willingness to learn forklift operation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely the forklift and move lumber and materials.
• Receive, stock, ship and count inventory items.
• Assist warehouse associates and supervisor to maintain organized work area.
• Maintain cleanliness of bays and staging areas; remove trash as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Count and record receipt of materials; stock in correct bins or locations.
• Assist inventory control in counting and organizing warehouse materials.
• Operate facility equipment (bander, power tools, hand tools) as needed.
• Support loading of outgoing orders onto delivery equipment.
