Job summary

Central Network Retail Group, LLC is seeking a part-time Yard Associate at HHC- Winnsboro to join the yard and warehouse team. You will provide excellent customer service, unload/load trucks, and assist with contractor sales while ensuring safety and asset protection.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, stock yard materials, and help customers with purchases and deliveries. Prior forklift certification and some delivery experience are needed, with the ability to lift 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification is required.
• Experience dealing with the public is required.
• Basic math skills and ability to read/write/speak clearly are required.
• Knowledge of lumber and building materials is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers or contractors in a friendly manner in yard/warehouse.
• Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard and warehouse.
• Assist truck drivers in delivery of merchandise to homeowners and job sites using company equipment.
• Load materials into customers' vehicles or delivery vehicles per POS records.
• Develop expertise with forklifts, warehouse lifts, pallet jacks and related equipment.
• Unload incoming freight without damaging goods or equipment.
• Build loads and prepare materials for delivery.
• Identify shortages and report to store management.
• Maintain clean and orderly yard and warehouse.
• Assist cashiers and sales counter staff as needed.
