Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, is seeking an entry-level Material Handler in Gaithersburg, MD. Under direct supervision you will move materials and products, lift and stack items, and operate material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and perform repetitive material handling.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to attend periodic safety meetings.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to ensure efficient flow and proper storage.
• Operate motorized and non-motorized handling equipment.
• Follow foreman instructions and learn new processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment; participate in safety meetings.
