Job summary

Texas Building Supply, a division of USLBM, is seeking a Yard/Warehouse Rep I to receive, stock, and ship inventory in our Texas yards and distribution facility. The entry-level role requires safe forklift operation and strict adherence to work and safety procedures for lumber and building materials outdoors.

You will stock materials, assist inventory control, and ensure clean, organized bays while delivering courteous customer service in a fast-paced yard environment with varying weather

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring adherence to safety procedures.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely.
• Receive, stock, and count inventory.
• Assist in maintaining organized bays and staging areas.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Count and record receipts of materials.
• Stock all material received in bins or storage locations.
• Assist inventory control with counts and organization.
• Operate facility equipment as necessary (e.g. bander, power tools).
• Monitor inventory as required by location management.
