Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Yard Driver to maintain yard organization and safely spot trailers at dock doors and throughout the yard. You will also update trailer moves or yard activity via a hand-held device and support general warehouse tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include driving yard trucks, spotting at designated locations, and auditing yard accuracy using the Yard Management System. This role reports to the Operations Manager and requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to

Qualifications

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid, active Driver's License.
• Ability to load and unload heavy items.
• High school diploma and/or GED required.

Responsibilities

• 10% Perform general warehouse tasks as needed.
• 80% Safely spotting trailers at dock doors and yard locations; Driving yard trucks and spotting at designated locations.
• 10% Yard Auditing; Ensure yard accuracy by leveraging the Yard Management System.
