Job summary

Jusczak Trucking is seeking a reliable Yard Truck Operator to move trailers within the yard and position equipment for loading and unloading. You will collaborate with dispatch and warehouse teams to maintain efficient yard flow and safety.

Responsibilities include backing trailers, inspecting equipment, and keeping locations updated in the yard system. A CDL A and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs are required. Competitive hourly pay and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as yard jockey/yard hostler or CDL driver.
• Ability to maneuver trailers in tight spaces.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and production facility traffic flow.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.
• CDL Class A required.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers with yard trucks to position for loading/unloading.
• Back trailers into dock doors with precision.
• Inspect yard equipment daily and report issues.
• Maintain accurate trailer locations in yard management systems.
• Communicate with dispatch, mechanics, and warehouse teams.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and company standards.
• Keep yard and facility clean and hazard-free.
• Assist with minor equipment adjustments (straps, dunnage).
