Job summary

Tyson Foods in Humboldt, TN is seeking a second shift yard truck operator. You will operate trucks, move trailers, perform pre‑trip inspections and maintain a clean, safe yard in accordance with Tyson policies.

Responsibilities include transporting trailers, staging loads for outbound shipments, recording logs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. A valid driver's license, clean MVR, and forklift experience are required; relocation assistance is not offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a clear MVR and pass Records check.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must not have DUI/DWI convictions within the last 12 months.
• 3+ months forklift experience listed on the application.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and move trailers in and out of loading areas, maintaining a safe work environment.
• Transport trailers across the yard and dock/undock trailers as necessary.
• Retrieve full trailers on inbound product and deliver to Receiving dock.
• Remove and stage full trailers for outbound Routes shipment.
• Ensure yard stays clean and debris-free.
• Perform pre-trip inspections on yard trucks and report defects.
