Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring a Yard Driver for 2nd shift to move and dock trailers at the Receiving dock. You will manage inbound/outbound trailer flow, keep the yard tidy, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure safety is the top priority while operating yard equipment.

Qualifications

• Six months of non-CDL driver experience within the last 12 months.
• Clear Motor Vehicle Report; no DUI/DWI in last 12 months.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, and work in extreme weather.

Responsibilities

• Keep truck yard free of debris and trash.
• Perform pre-trip inspections on Yard trucks and report defects.
• Maintain cleanliness of yard trucks daily.
• Maintain clean work area with soap and high-pressure hose.
• Complete required logs.
• Ensure safety is top priority while operating yard trucks.
