Qualifications

• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required.
• Must have a clean driving record (2 or fewer moving violations).
• Ability to work the required schedule and safely operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers in and out of dock as directed.
• Couple and uncouple trailers for loading and unloading.
• Maintain safety protocols while operating heavy machinery.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A Yard Truck Driver

??? $23 per hour with overtime after 40 hours

??? $5000 retention bonus

??? No touch freight

??? Local, Home Daily

??? Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral

You will drive:

??? Late model, Freightliner trucks

??? 53' dry van trailers

What you will do:

??? Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management

??? Couple and uncouple trailers

??? Chocking trailers as they are spotted for loading, unloading and pulling from doors

Schedule:

??? Monday through Friday with a PM dispatch around 3:00 pm

??? Sunday through Thursday with a PM dispatch around 10pm

??? 2 days off per week

??? Occasional Saturday work as needed by the customer

Qualifications:

??? Valid CDL Class A license required

??? Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required

??? 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the past 5 years

??? 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents

??? Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

??? Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

??? In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2 , this role requires English language proficiency

??? Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

??? This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
