Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring immediate full-time Class A Yard Drivers in Milton, FL. You will operate late-model Penske trucks, with home daily schedules, no-touch freight, and competitive benefits. The role emphasizes safety and customer service while supporting efficient yard operations.

Eligible drivers hold a valid Class A CDL and must pass background checks and drug screening. Training opportunities and a nationwide network await, with weekly pay and comprehensive insurance options.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required and domiciled in the U.S.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
• Clean DMV/MVR with two or fewer violations/accidents
• English language proficiency required
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management.
• Couple and uncouple trailers.
• Chock trailers as they are spotted for loading/unloading and pulling from doors

Earn $28 per hour

You will drive:

Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks

Best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety{include other site specific selling points}

Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management
• Couple and uncouple trailers
• Chocking trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading and pulling from doors

Schedule:

• 5 day work week: Monday-Friday
• Weekends off
• 2pm start time

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the past 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
