Job summary

Warren CAT in Midland, TX is seeking a Yard Specialist I to perform general maintenance and logistics of the Yard, and support Rental, Parts, and Service Departments as needed. You will prepare tools for shipment, verify equipment readiness, assist customers and delivery drivers, and ensure a clean, organized yard.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma, willingness to work overtime, weekends or evenings, and travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass workstep test for position.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or evenings.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tools for shipment to other stores and dealers.
• Dispose (check-in) tools received for factory, vendors, and other locations.
• Assemble/disassemble work tools and label them properly.
• Maintain orderly, clean yard.
• Assist Rental, Parts, and Service Departments as needed.
• Greet customers in yard and direct them to offices or unloading areas.
• Assist delivery drivers with loading/unloading tools.
• Perform light maintenance and washing on tools/equipment.
• Inspect equipment before customers receive it for rental readiness.
• Verify fuel levels and inspect details on returns.
• Install service tags on equipment returned from rental.
• Move rental-ready equipment back to storage following maintenance.
