4 Horn Trench & Shoring in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Yard Technician II with welding experience a plus. The role ensures equipment is ready for rent and the yard is organized for efficiency, with duties including loading/unloading, organizing gear, and basic maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license with a moderately clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language.
• Ability to take verbal and written instructions and perform the tasks necessary for the job.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to maintain a safe, organized and clean working environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks. This includes the safe distribution of weight and proper and legal tie down of all loads.
• Transports non-DOT equipment
• Prepare equipment for rent
• Organize and put equipment and tools in proper place
• Keep the area of responsibility clean and organized
• Keep forklift, pallet jack, and pressure washer in good working order
• Responsible for matching loaded and unloaded equipment with delivery tickets or other freight documents
• Performs minor maintenance or cleaning of tools and equipment
• Notes any physical damage to equipment received on freight document
• Works outdoors in all weather conditions
• Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by Management
