Job summary

Herc Rentals in Conesville, OH is seeking a Yard Technician to keep the yard clean, organized, and welcoming for drivers and customers. This full-time role supports loading/unloading, equipment checks, and staging for drivers.

You will gain hands-on training, focus on safety, and opportunities to grow within Herc Rentals as you learn the equipment rental business and assist customers.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors when required of the job.
• Basic computer skills to input information into systems.

Responsibilities

• Help to load and unload internal truck drivers, outside haulers and customers.
• Verify delivery tickets and returns for accuracy.
• Clean, maintain, and organize heavy equipment and machinery.
• Review orders and stage equipment for drivers.
• Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure safety and good working order.
• Maintain a clean and organized yard and work area.
• Answer and resolve customer questions.
• Provide customers with expert advice on equipment selection, operation and maintenance.
• Support all team members.
